Easy English muffins



2¼ cups bread flour

½ tablespoon  granulated sugar

1 tablespoon honey

¾ teaspoon salt

1¼ teaspoons instant yeast

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 cup  milk or buttermilk, warmed

Cornmeal for dusting pan


Pre- heat over to 350.Warm milk to lukewarm this means when you touch it its neither hot or cold. Whisk in yeast, sugar and honey. Next add the butter and the salt and flour mix with dough hook 6 minutes or by hand for 6 minutes.Cover let rise 1 hour should be doubled in bulk. On a sheet pan line with parchment then sprinkle with cornmeal. Take dough out of bowl and go strait on cornmeal press or roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with desired shape. Cover 30 minutes let rise again. Place  in pre-heated oven 15 minutes take out of oven turn over back in oven for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
